HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Robbers have stolen all equipment of doctors and paramedics from the Covid-19 hospital in western Herat province, an official said on Monday.
Mahmood Shah Rassouli, police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News unidentified gunmen entered the Covid-19 hospital and stole the tools on Sunday night.
He added police had launched an investigation into the incident. He assured the perpetrators would be brough to justice.
Basir Ahmad, a patient’s attendant, told Pajhwok: “At around 1:00am, about 20 people, five of them armed, entered the hospital and took away our mobile phones and money.”
