PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Taliban will not talk to the Afghan government as long as President Ashraf Ghani remains in power, says the Pakistani prime minister.
Imran Khan said he tried to convince the Taliban leaders during their visit to Pakistan some months back to reach a political settlement with the Ghani administration.
Speaking to foreign journalists in Islamabad on Wednesday night, he said: “The condition is that as long as Ghani is there, Taliban are not going to talk to the Afghan government.”
