KABUL (Pajhwok): The Taliban say male and female students in all public and private education institutes across the country continue their studies as normal.
In a statement on Sunday, the Taliban asked higher education officials, lecturers and students not to worry about the ongoing war in the country and expect no negative change.
The Taliban informed the people that without any break, educational activities for boys and departments would continue as normal without any hindrance or delay.
The statement urged all officials concerned to focus on discharging their duties without any negligence.
“We assure you with utmost honesty that your security and the protection of your property will be our top priority.
There are concerns the intensity of the fighting across the country may disrupt the education process for some time. At least 29 provinces of Afghanistan have been captured by the Taliban.
