KABUL (Pajhwok): US President Joe Biden has once again discussed the current situation on Afghanistan with his National Security Team.
In a statement, the White House said the situation in Afghanistan, combating terrorism, evacuations from Afghanistan and other issues were discussed at the meeting.
So far, 20,000 people have been evacuated from Afghanistan and the process is still ongoing.
Biden promised the evacuation of Americans from Afghanistan. He acknowledged evacuating thousands of people from Kabul Airport was a dangerous task.
