KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan has announced 100 bachelor’s and master’s degree scholarships for Afghan students, the country’s envoy said on Monday.
Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mansour Ahmad Khan, tweeted the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in Lahore has announced 100 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships for Afghans.
He wrote he had spoken to Ibrahim Hassan Murad, head of the UMT in Lahore.
He added the scholarships were both for male and female students.
According to him, Pakistan continues to cooperate with Afghanistan in the field of education and urges other institutions to work for capacity building of Afghans.
