JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 14 civilians have been wounded as a result of aerial firing in eastern Nangarhar province.
The reason for the gunfire, which happened in various provinces including Kabul on Friday night, is yet to be known.
Fourteen injured people, including three women, were brought to hospital from different areas of Nangarhar, said officials.
Gulzada Sangar, spokesman for the main hospital in Jalalabad, told Pajhwok Afghan News three women were among the injured.
Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid warned that anyone found involved in aerial fire would be dealt with sternly.
