Pakistani plane brings food aid to Khost

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): A Pakistan military plane carrying food items has arrived in southeastern Khost province.

Mohammad Din Shah Mohabad, deputy governor of Khost, told Pajhwok Afghan News the plane brought 12 tonnes of food items, including some medicines.

He said the aid would be distributed transparently to needy families in the province.

According to him, another plane carrying food items from the United Arab Emirates had also landed at Khost airport on Friday.
