KABUL (Pajhwok): Over 100 persons tested positive and nine patients died from coronavirus in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Wednesday.
During the period 315 suspected patients referred to different laboratories for test in which 103 were positive taking the total number of coronavirus patients in the country to 154,361.
Herat leading other provinces with 36 cases, Kandahar nine, six each in Nangarhar, Baghlan, five in Badghis, four each in Takhar, Badakhshan and Paktika, and one each in Kabul and Paktia provinces.
