KABUL (Pajhwok): Former President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Monday said his Facebook page has been hacked and disowned recent posts on the page.

On his Facebook page that maintains blue verification badge it was written: “It is a bitter reality that today we and our former cabinet has no decision making power in Afghanistan but still some nations in the world invite former Afghan envoys to international meetings for creating a new crisis and to peruse their own agenda. Under no law these envoys could represent Afghanistan and its people.”

It added that Afghanistan Representative to the UN Ghulam Eshaq will address the UN General Assembly when he enjoyed no support from the people and authorities of Afghanistan.

The facebook page further said that international community should understand if they wanted a peaceful Afghanistan then they shall offer the friendship hand, Afghans could not be influenced through enmity and tactics of pressure.

But former President Ashraf Ghani on his Facebook page wrote: “Dr. Ashraf Ghani’s facebook page has been hacked since Sunday, all contents from this page is not accredited until it is recovered.”

Cultural Affairs Head of Ghani Administration Mahbob Shah Mahbob on his Facebook page wrote: “This page has been hacked and is not in our control.”
