KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Assistant Prime Minister Abdul Salaam Hanafi on Monday asked Tajikistan to refrain from interfering in the internal matters of Afghanistan.
In his address to the UN General Assembly, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon said that a government in Afghanistan, in which the interests of all Afghan factions were not secured, might generate problems.
He said: “Tajiks community comprises more than 46 percent of Afghanistan’s population and they reserve the right to be part of government in Afghanistan.”
