Afghanistan records 35 Covid-19 cases in past 24hrs: MoPH

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan recorded 35 new positive coronavirus cases and three deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Tuesday.

During the period 229 suspected persons conducted coronavirus tests in which 35 persons tested positive taking the total national tally of coronavirus patients to 155,128 nation-wide.

Three patients died from the virus that brings the total number of fatalities from the virus to 7,204 in the country, the ministry said.

Over 270 persons have recovered from the virus that brings the number of recovered persons to 124,362 nationwide.
