KHOST (Pajhwok): Qalandar district of southeastern Khost province which was administered from Khost city, provincial capital, since last 20 years, is requested to be relocated to its original location.
A number of residents of the district say that they currently travel for several kilometres to reach the provincial capital for performing their official activities.
For 20 years, the previous government kept the district administration in Khost city due to security reasons. The district is located around 30 kilometers north of Khost city.
Bakhtullah, a resident of Qalandar district, said that they suffered huge problems due to relocation of the district . . .
