KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Taliban have closed the Spinboldak-Chaman crossing in southern Kandahar province and vowed the gate will close until Pakistani side resolve all hurdles, according to a statement on Monday.
Pakistan created several problems for patients, businessmen on Spinboldak-Chaman crossing and these problems could not resolved despite several attempts and talks with Pakistani side, a statement from Kandahar Governor Office said.
Patients, businessmen and other passengers had been asked to stop movement on the crossing until Pakistan side removes all hurdles.
Kandahar Information and Cultural Affairs Department Assistant Head Mawlavi Rahmatullah said the decision to closed vital crossing was taken after Pakistani side failed to resolve problems faced by patients, businessmen and common people.
People have been complaining against growing problems on Spinboldak-Chaman crossing after the Taliban took over Kabul.
