KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkmenistan president has said that it expects the new Afghan administration would have a peaceful policy, assuring his country is ready to work with the Afghan caretaker government.
Turkmen president, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, during an interview with TASS news agency, stressed that Turkmenistan was closely following the situation in Afghanistan and his country wanted to cooperate with Kabul.
Turkmenistan wants the relations between the two countries return to normal, he said.
He stressed that Turkmenistan would keep neutral about Afghanistan the country he expects to have a peaceful policy.
After the Taliban took control of Kabul around a month and half ago, different countries made different reactions about the new administration.
Some countries’ reaction was hard while others were soft but no country so far recognized the new government while some in a way support it.
Based on reports, the world’s general demand from Taliban is forming an inclusive government and respect human rights.
