KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Ameer Khan Muttaqi held a meeting with his Uzbekistan counterpart Abdul Aziz Kamelove and his accompanying delegation, an official said on Thursday.
Taliban Qatar Office Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Naeem said during the meeting, the Uzbek foreign minister assured Muttaqi of his country’s support in trade, transit and energy sectors.
Muttaqi thanked his counterpart for providing support to Afghanistan in difficult circumstances and rehabilitating Mazar-e-Sharif Airport.
He added both countries focused on shared interest throughout the history and nothing has had an impact on the relationship of both the countries.
