KABUL (Pajhwok): Russian foreign ministry on Thursday said that it expects a Taliban delegation to travel to Moscow next week and participate in conference there about Afghanistan.
Sputnik News Agency quoted statements of Russian foreign ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova about the conference today. Moscow is expected to host the conference on October 20.
Talking to a press conference, Zakharova said that Russia expects a Taliban delegation would visit Moscow and attend a conference about Afghanistan next week.
"Next week, we are expecting a representative delegation of the Taliban movement to visit Moscow to take part in the third Moscow format . . .
