GARDEZ (Pajhwok): A local journalist has been killed and three others, including the director of information and cultural affairs, have been wounded in a traffic accident in southeastern Paktia province.
Paktia Zwand Radio head Niazullah Aseel Zazai said one of his colleagues Syed Ezzatullah Sadaat was killed while three others suffered wounds.
The casualties, he said, happened on the Gardez-Kabul road on Sunday night when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned.
Among the injured were Paktia Information Director Khaliqyar Ahmadzai, Bakhtar News Agency reporter Habibullah and another person.
