KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan BreshnaShirkat (DABS) acting head QariBadar has said that efforts are underway to ensure security and safety of electricity pylons and meetings in this regard would be held with local elders and Kabul district chiefs.
He said this after an electricity pylon of 220 kilowatt supply line was blown up in the QalaMuradBaig locality of capital Kabul last Wednesday, plunging Kabul and other provinces into darkness.
QariBadri pledged individuals behind the incident would be punished according to the law.
He said meetings with Kabul province district chiefs and local elders would take place to ensure the safety . . .
