PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two civilians were killed in a mine blast in the capital of central Logar province on Thursday, officials said.
The incident took place this morning in front of a Shia mosque in the Saydan Qala area of Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital.
Logar governor’s spokesman, Omar Mansoor Mujahid, told Pajhwok Afghan News two people, including a nine-year-old girl, were killed in the incident.
He added that there was no information about the nature of the blast but intelligence operatives launched an investigation into the incident.
