KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan will play three One Day International (ODI) and as many T20 matches against Zimbabwe next month as part of ICC FTP, an official said on Wednesday.
Afghanistan Cricket Board Spokesperson Farid Hotak said the national side will play six limited over matches against Zimbabwe. He did not say where the matches will take place.
But according to CrickZimbo Zimbabwe will host Afghanistan and other nations for limited over contest.
“Lots of cricket coming up for Zimbabwe in the next few months. Hosting Afghanistan in December for 3 ODIs & 3 T20s (Test unlikely to happen) before touring Sri Lanka in January for (3 ODIs & 3 T20s). Ireland still scheduled to tour in March/April but that is currently unconfirmed,” it said in a tweet.
