KABUL (Pajhwok): German and Dutch special envoys have pledged to find ways of paying Afghan teachers and health workers, an official said on Saturday.

Both diplomats met Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in Kabul, tweeted Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of Information and Culture.

Muttaqi met German and Dutch Special Representatives for Afghanistan Jasper Wieck and Arnell Debont, German Ambassador-designate Marcus Poetzl and the delegations they led.

The German and Dutch teams discussed humanitarian aid and future political relations with the new Afghan government.

The joint delegation promised finding ways of paying Afghan teachers and health workers, Mujahid added.
