KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice says the media should not broadcast in a way that insults religious rites and human dignity, and that female journalists on television should observe the Islamic hijab.
Officials of the Ministries of Information and Culture and the vice and virtue met with media representatives in Kabul today.
Zabihullah Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture, praised the work of the media and called it important for the country. He said the media should take Islamic values into account and work for the national interest.
