KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has promised a technical problem in the Passport Department will be resolved and the process of passport distribution will restart soon in Kabul.
Qari Saeed Khosti, spokesman for MoI, told Pajhwok Afghan News efforts were underway to deal with the technical problem.
Without giving any date for the resumption of passport distribution, he said the department intended to start the process in seven other provinces as well.
Earlier, Alam Gul Haqqani, head of the passport department, said in a video message that some of the department’s equipment was out of order.
