US hails Qatar robust support on Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): US Special Representative for Afghanistan Thomas West has hailed Qatar robust support in Afghanistan’s reconciliation process.

West met Qatar Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman and National Security Advisor Mohammed Al-Misnad and discussed matters related to Afghanistan.

On his twitter handler he said: “Discussed the way ahead in Afghanistan with the United States’ close partners @MBA_AlThani_and National Security Advisor of Qatar HE Mohammed Al-Misnad. We are grateful to Qatar for their robust support and value their engagement.”
