CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): At least five security personnel have been killed and 21 others wounded in two traffic accidents in central Parwan province, police official said on Monday.
Deputy police chief Awal Gul Haqparast told Pajhwok Afghan News the accidents took place in Bagram district on Sunday.
He said the accidents occurred when a convoy of security personnel was heading to the Bagram air base from Kabul.
Haqparast said in the first accident, a pick-up overturned that led to the death of five security officials. Four others were wounded.
In the second accident, 17 security personnel were injured, the police official said. He would not comment on the condition of the injured.
