483 bottles alcohol seized in Kandahar City

KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Security personnel have seized hundreds bottles of alcohol during an operation in Kandahar City, the capital of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Friday.

Kandahar Security Spokesperson Mohammad Asif Hakimi told Pajhwok Afghan News security personnel seized 483 bottles of wine in the limits of fifth police district and arrested two people.

The wine were brought from Spinboldak and were planned to be shifted to Kabul, he said.
