MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and three others, including a group leader, injured in an armed clash between two Islamic Emirate armed groups in northwestern Fayab province, according to local sources on Sunday.
Mullah Hizbullah Muqatel, deputy security chief for Faryab, confirmed the clash and said it happened between two group leaders Anas and Bilal in the Khawaja Arab locality of Balcharagh district.
Anas men opened firing on convey when conflicting parties were evacuated to provincial police headquarters as a result three civilians including Bilal were injured.
