Afghanistan ambassador to China steps dawn

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s Ambassador to China Javid Ahmad Qaem has resigned from his position for personal and working reasons.

On his Twitter account, Qaem wrote: “There are many personal and working reasons but I don’t want to mention them here”.

He said that soon everything will be explained to the people. Qaem said he was proud of representing Afghanistan and its people.

There are reports that Qaem handed over embassy affairs to Syed Muhiuddin Sadaat who was recently introduced as the first secretary by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Earlier, Muhiuddin served as a member of the Taliban political office in Qatar.
