KABUL (Pajhwok): Fifteen acres of state land has been recovered from its illegal occupants in the 15<sup>th</sup> Police District of capital Kabul, an official said on Monday.
Kabul City Municipality Spokesperson NiamatullahBarakzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the recovered land was situated behind the Ministry of Interior.
The land measuring 10 to 15 acres had been grabbed by powerful individuals who had constructed buildings on the land.
Barakzai said the government was committed to recovering grabbed land and efforts in this regard will continue.
