KABUL (Pajhwok): One person died from Coronavirus while 39 new patients tested positive in the past 24 hours, an official said on Monday.
Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Javid Hazeez told Pajhwok Afghan News 846 coronavirus tests had been conducted in the past 24 hours in which 39 person tested positive.
He said 21 persons tested positive in capital Kabul, eight in Kandahar, six in Nangarhar, two in Panjshir, and one each in Kunduz and Baghlan provinces.
He said 17 coronavirus patients in Kandahar, Maidan Wardak and Panjsher provinces have recovered.
