KABUL (Pajhwok): A blast and gunshots were heard in the Niazbeg locality of Kabul on Monday morning, said an eyewitness.
The incident happened at around 10:30 am near School Street, the witness told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Gunshots rang out in the area before it was rocked by an explosion. The witness said he was traveling in a car when the gunfire began. He swiftly went out of the areas in fear.
Security personnel were present in the locality but they had no idea about casualties. Officials have yet to comment on the incident.
