BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Roads leading to central Bamyan and Daikundi provinces have reopened after three days of closure due to heavy snowfall, officials said on Thursday.
The Bamyan Public Works Department said the routes linking the province with Kabul had reopened after three days of heavy snowfall.
In Daikundi, Deputy Director of Public Works Ahmad Shah Ehsani said the Daikundi-Bamyan road had been cleared in Qonaq tunnel area.
He added roads in Pato and Gizab districts had also been reopened for traffic while snow was being removed from Khadir-Meyana tunnel.
