PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Some roads in the Khost, Farang and Guzargah-e-Noor districts of northern Baghlan provinces have been reopened for traffic, an official said on Wednesday.
Public Works Department Director Mullah Abbas Akhund told Pajhwok Afghan News the road between Nahrin and Khost districts was closed by heavy snowfall in the Pulfi Tunnel which was reopened on Tuesday.
The Guzargah, Khost and Farang districts are situated in mountainous terrine that gets blocked by heavy snowfall every year in the Pulfi and Suchi Tunnels.
It is worth mentioning that after heavy snowfall in some provinces connectivity roads had been blocked for traffic.
