NEILI (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and 14 others injured in two separate traffic accidents in central Daikundi province, an official said on Thursday.
The accidents happened in the Khaddar district and Neili, the provincial capital, the chief of staff to the governor told Pajhwok Afghan News
Maulvi Khalil said one person was killed and nine others were injured in the first accident on the outskirts of Neili on Wednesday when a passenger coach veered off the road and overturned.
“Another accident happened in Khaddar on the Neili-Ashtarli road when a passenger coach veered off the road and overturned leaving one person dead and five others injured,” he added.
The accidents occurred due to snow on roads and recklessness of drivers, according to Khalil.
