Man accused of stealing 30 cars arrested in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Kabul police have arrested a man accused of killing a person, stealing 30 vehicles and 100 mobile phones.

Khalid Zadran, a spokesman for Kabul’s police chief, said Shahidullah, aka Karaw, had been arrested by security forces in the 8th District on charges of involvement in robbery, kidnapping and murder.

“In the initial investigation, the man has confessed to stealing 30 cars and 100 mobile phones, stabbing three people and killing one person,” he said.

He added that the accused had four other accomplices in the crimes and two of whom were being chased.
