KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) says doctors of non-governmental organization Peace Village would arrive in Kabul on Thursday to identify children with severe burns or bone fracture for sending them to Germany for treatment.
Germany’s Peace Village International Organization in a tweet said that doctors from the organization are expected to arrive in Kabul on Thursday and stay for nine days.
The organization wants to examine children with bone fractures and severe burns and take them to Germany for treatment, the source said.
The children being taken to Germany for treatment should not be younger than one year of age and older than 11 years, the NGO said.
The organization has been sending Afghan children to Germany for treatment with broken bones and severe burns for years.
The process was suspended for some time, but it is now resumed.
