KABUL (Pajhwok): A 10-member government delegation is set to hold talks with the Red Cross and other NGOs in Geneva, says a media report.
Led by Latifullah Hakimi, the team would discuss humanitarian access and human rights, a spokeswoman for Switzerland’s foreign ministry said.
AFP quoted the spokeswoman as saying: “The protection of children during conflict and the management of land contaminated by mines are also on the agenda ...”
Swiss foreign ministry officials will meet the Taliban delegates later this week. Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation representatives will also be in attendance.
