MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Bodies of four members of a family have recovered from the snow in the Kohistanat district of northwestern Faryab province after one month, an official said on Friday.
Four people of a family --- a father, daughter and two sons --- went missing in the Terband Turkistan during heavy snowfall one month ago.
Mohammad Amin, a relative of deceased people, said: “Mohammad was a poor man who took her eight year old daughter for treatment to Maimana, but he was unable to treat her daughter and returned. They got trapped in heavy snowfall in Tirband Turkistan. Around 200 of a family took part in search operation but were unable to find them, their bodies recovered on Thursday afternoon.”
