KABUL (Pajhwok): Top US Military General Kenneth McKenzie has said Daesh also known as the Islamic State (ISIS) was active in parts of Afghanistan, a claim often spurned by the acting government officials in Kabul.
Defence Ministry Spokesperson Enayatullah Khwarazmi said: “We reject these reports. We assure all sides that Islamic Emirate was ready to fight or defend against any terrorist group and no terrorist group is present in Afghanistan.”
