KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has introduced a new representative for Afghanistan.
The UN agency announced on Saturday Dr. Mohamed Ag Ayoya as the new representative for Afghanistan.
Ayoya tweeted: “Today, I join our UNICEF team in Afghanistan as Representative. I am proud to lead this dynamic team of humanitarian workers at such a critical moment for children in this country.”
He wrote: “Much has been achieved, but we need to achieve ever more for the most vulnerable children.”
