PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Averting the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan is his first concern, says the Pakistan prime minister.
Imran Khan made the remarks during a phone call with Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Karl Nehammer on Saturday.
Following the call, the Austrian chancellor tweeted they discussed the situation in Afghanistan and the need to stabilize the country.
They underlined the need for providing humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, the chancellor wrote on his Twitter handle.
The Pakistani premier they would also like to collaborate on developing tourism in northern areas of his country and boosting technical collaboration.
Khan wrote: “I invited him (the Austrian chancellor) to visit Pakistan and look forward to receiving him here.”
