KABUL (Pajhwok): British Queen Elizabeth has been diagnosed with Covid after suffering from mild cold-like symptoms, says Buckingham Palace.
Despite her diagnosis, the 95-year-old monarch expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week, according to The Sun.
The news came after the Queen had come into contact with Prince Charles during the same week he tested positive for the coronavirus.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the Queen tested positive for the virus on Sunday. “She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines.”
