KABUL (Pajhwok): Two people, including the gunman, have been killed and four others injured in a shooting at a Citibank office complex in Tampa, Florida, in the United States.
According to the Associated Press (AP), the incident occurred on Wednesday when an armed man drove his vehicle into the office complex on the outskirts of Tampa. After crashing into a fence, he opened fire on people at the site.
Frank Losat, deputy chief of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, said the gunman entered the complex and shot at people, killing a woman.
He said a security guard later confronted the attacker in the complex’s cafeteria. During an exchange of gunfire, the guard shot and killed the gunman.
Losat said four other people were injured and taken to hospital.
Around 3,200 employees were at the complex when the shooting occurred, according to the report.
AP reported that the identities of the gunman and the woman killed had not yet been established, and the motive for the shooting remained unclear.
