FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): All passengers stranded at the Bakak pass between Ghor and Bamyan provinces have been rescued, an official said on Friday.
Yesterday, eight vehicles carrying passengers from Kabul to Ghor were stranded in Bakak pass due to avalanches and strong winds.
The pass is located between Ghor and Bamyan provinces.
Maulvi Mohammad Hamas, head of Ghor's information and culture department, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 80 passengers trapped in the Bakak Kotal were rescued late last night using tools from the province's public works department.
