KABUL (Pajhwok): The European Commission has openly supported membership of Ukraine into the bloc, calling the country under Russian occupation "one of us".
Welcoming Ukraine's talks with Russia, European Commissioner Ursula van der Leyen told euronews on Sunday that she no longer had "any trust" in Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Leyen previously had announced that 27 member states of the European Union have shut their airspace to Russian planes and that pro-Kremlin media outlets, including Russia Today and Sputnik, were no longer allowed to broadcast ‘toxic and destructive propaganda’ in EU territory.
