Russia says channels of dialogue open with US

KABUL (Pajhwok): Certain channels of dialogue between Russia and the United States remain open, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman says.

As hostilities in Ukraine continue, Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Saturday: “We are maintaining certain channels of a dialogue with the US.”

According to TASS news agency, , the Defence Ministry in Moscow said Russian troops were not targeting Ukrainian cities.

The ministry explained Russia was conducting surgical strikes that were aimed to incapacitate Ukrainian military infrastructure.
