ADM predicts rain, snowfall, flash floods in 33 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan Meteorological Department (AMD) has announced the probability of relatively heavy snow and rainfall with flash floods in the next two days in a number of provinces of the country.

A statement from AMD received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that there is a possibility of relatively heavy snow and rainfall along with flash floods on Tuesday and Wednesday in a number of provinces.

The statement said that the provinces where rain and snow would fall include Herat, Badghis, Faryab, Jawzjan, Balkh,Samangan, Farah, Sar-i-Pul, Ghor, Uruzgan, Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Daikundi, Ghazni, Bamyan, MaidanWardak, Logar, Paktia, Paktika,Khost,Panjshir, Kabul,Parwan,Kapisa, Nangarhar, Laghman, Nuristan, Kunar, Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan.

AMD has predicted rainfall in different places between 20 to 50 mm and snow between 20cm to 50cm.
