PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Officials of Agriculture and Livestock Department of central Logar province on Monday said they had provided work opportunity for more than 300 people suffering from economic issues.
Mualvi Syed Amin, Logar agriculture director, told Pajhwok Afghan News that these people were offered jobs in Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital, and Mohammad Agha district of the province with the financial support of the IRC.
He said that for two months each worker would be paid 350 afghanis a day to clean canals and streams.
He said a similar program would be launched in the near future . . .
