KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Interior Minister Serajuddin Haqqani has said that government eradicated the mindset of revenge by implementing general amnesty and made progress in this regard, according to a statement on Friday.
Haqqani expressed the view during a meeting with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet statement said.
She acknowledged that current crisis in Afghanistan are due to some inherent issues from previous government and some issues created by existing economic hardships.
Bachelet renewed UN support in this regard.
Haqqani termed Doha Accord a positive step for trust building with the international community, adding that Afghanistan was not posing treat to other countries and efforts were underway to remove small issues as well.
