LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Seven members of a family have been wounded in a mortar shell blast in southern Helmand province, an official said on Saturday.
A mortar shell below up inside a house in the Shat locality of Marja district on Friday evening leaving seven members of the house wounded, Helmand Information Director Mawlavi Mohammad Qasim Riyaz said.
The injured included husband, wife, and their children had been shifted to the hospital.
Separately, three members of another family were wounded in a mortar shell blast in Tirinkot, the capital of central Uruzgan province on Friday.
